DESCRIPTION:About the Africa Internet Summit\n\nThe Africa Internet Summit (AIS) is an annual\, regional\, multi-stakeholder ICT conference. It is the pinnacle educational and business ICT event in Africa where key players in the Internet industry can interact with the global Internet community. Launched in The Gambia in 2012\, the Summit consists of seminars\, workshops\, tutorials\, conference sessions\, birds-of-a-feather (BOFs)\, and other forums for sharing ICT knowledge within the African region. AIS’22 will take place from 30th May-3rd June 2022 and will be hosted in Mauritius. \nThe Africa Internet Summit 2022 (AIS’22) is jointly organized by the Africa Network Information Centre (AFRINIC) in collaboration with the African Network Operators Group (AfNOG).

DESCRIPTION:The Initial Registry Operations Course is a 5 day (40 Hour) Introductory Course tailored for operators looking to build robust registry operations moving forward into advanced installation and configuration topics. \nThis course focuses on introducing participants to policy and technical issues required to establish  a ccTLD\, best practices for managing a ccTLD ecosystem as well as table top exercises aimed at  demonstrating a structured approach to network monitoring and management including further risk management plans. The course is highlighted by hands-on exercises to installation and configuration components. Topics in this course include but are not limited to  introduction to registry operations\, registry management software\, architecture\, monitoring tools and scripting.
